St. Gallen - On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, the third national Digital Day will take place with more than 150 free talks, opportunities to talk along, stage shows, startup pitches, expos and courses at over 12 locations throughout Switzerland. DOMAINS.CH will be present in the #smarthalle St. Gallen with an interactive point cloud installation.
The Point Cloud application allows a playful interactive walk through the old town of St. Gallen in a point cloud representation. In the darkened rear area of the #smarthalle basement, the so-called Point Cloud is projected onto the walls and the visitor can walk through the old town with the help of simple controllers. Depending on the mode, so-called Smart Points are displayed in the point cloud.
These can be places where sharing offers are available or other smart services are available. In another visualization, some of the domains located in the respective buildings are displayed. New smart points and domains will be added during the exhibition period.
The project is realized by VADIAN.NET AG in cooperation with Elektromeier Media & Interaction GmbH.
