You can add your desired domains to your backorder list via our domain search. It does not matter who currently owns the domain. These backorders remain dormant until a requested domain is deleted by the registry. Our system will then automatically try to register this domain for you in the background using the most modern means. In case of success the backorder fee will be charged from your credit card and you can dispose of the domain normally.

If several customers want to order the same domain, an auction will take place between all buyers. Should this be the case, you will be informed by e-mail.

Domains.ch offers the backorder service free of charge. There are only costs if domains can really be registered for you. Depending on the domain extension the success fees can be different. The registration price for the domain itself for the first year is usually included. Please note, currently backorders are not yet available for all domain extensions. More domain extensions will be added on a continuous basis.

If, contrary to expectations, a domain is not available, a backorder cannot be executed and the domain cannot be registered for you. We log these failed attempts in your account each time and extend your backorder for another year without any additional costs.

Domains in the backorder list can be deleted at any time.
